6. Google & YouTube User Data Policy

SongDeck integrates with Google API services, specifically the YouTube Data API, to enrich your experience. In compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, we disclose the following details:

• Data Access: When you connect your Google/YouTube account, SongDeck requests access to your YouTube playlists and channel metadata via the youtube.readonly and youtube.force-ssl OAuth scopes. We access only the data required to perform your requested sync tasks (such as searching reference tracks and creating playlists).
• Data Use: We use this access solely to find matching music tracks, play back reference audio, and synchronize or mirror your custom setlists directly into playlists on your YouTube channel.
• Data Sharing & Transfer: We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer any Google or YouTube user data to third parties, data brokers, or advertisers. All interactions are handled directly between SongDeck and Google's official API servers.
• Data Protection: Google OAuth credentials and tokens are encrypted and stored securely within our Firebase database.
• Data Retention & Deletion: Google OAuth tokens are retained only as long as you maintain the YouTube integration. You can revoke access and delete all stored Google/YouTube tokens at any time by disconnecting the integration in your application settings or by deleting your SongDeck account.
• AI/ML & Limited Use Compliance: SongDeck's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Furthermore, we do not use your Google/YouTube user data, nor do we share it with third parties, for the purpose of training artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.
